Lauren Freeman is an assistant professor of philosophy at Concordia University in Montreal.  Her research aims to demonstrate the relevance of a phenomenological account of subjectivity and intersubjectivity in ethics, feminist philosophy, and the philosophy of emotion.  Currently she is looking at the relationship between mood and moral judgment.  She has published articles on the possibility of a Heideggerian ethics, on recognition, and on the relationship between phenomenological concepts, of the self and relational autonomy. Her teaching interests are in Ethics, Phenomenology, Moral Psychology, and Feminist Philosophy.
